After the first message appears, the spirit coffin is closed and you can ask the spirits another question. The box may be now opened, and the second message appears with no explanation.
***The Appearing Card
A card is selected and the spectator actually gets to shuffle the card back into the deck themselves. The spectator is asked to whisper the name of the card to the spirit coffin as the performer stands a few feet away so he can't hear. The card they are thinking of is commanded to vanish from the deck. When they open the spirit coffin, the card has appeared, and is staring them right in the face! This is going to cause quite a stir. It will also more than likely caused people to run away in fear! You display an old antique glass marble that was once owned by your Great uncle Henry. Uncle Henry passed away years ago, but he can still answer questions using the marble. You drop the marble into the spirit coffin, and ask uncle Henry how many people are in the room. After a few seconds of silence the marble begins to make tapping noises tapping exactly 6 times for the six people that are in the room!!!!
***The Book Test
The spectator stops on any page in a book and remembers the first word on the page. A piece of chalk is dropped into the empty spirit coffin when the coffin is opened-the exact word or image that the spectator is thinking of has been drawn inside the coffin!!!
***The Bagshawe Revelation
The Magician displays the spirit coffin open and there have been dozens of different names written inside the coffin. A piece of tissue is placed inside of it and closed. When the coffin is opened, every single name has been erased by the tissue except for the name of your spectator!!!! This is my favorite trick with the spirit coffin. And one that will probably have people talking for years to come.
